# Blue Bottle Coffee & TCHO

## This chocolate is designed to make our coffees sing.

Our first collaboration with TCHO on the [Mokaccino](http://herokuapp.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=ff28eda9d53e6147a1374b078&id=3d1c8855fe&e=b359af9bf2) bar was so delicious, we knew we wanted to work with them again.

Our founder, [James Freeman](/content/frequency/tokyo-in-five-cups-of-coffee?preview_token=BTurfem5wbQUHzvUWCJnSQ/index.html), had long dreamed of creating Blue Bottle’s own formula for a chocolate that would be the ideal counterpart to our coffees. After having many conversations, TCHO's Chief Chocolate Maker Brad Kintzer nailed it with this decadent dark chocolate bar.

With its deep, uncomplicated flavor, this fusion of cacao beans from Ghana, Madagascar, Ecuador, and Peru compliments every single one of our [espresso, blend, and single-origin coffees](/content/store/coffee/index.html). Balancing its profile with a simple yet lingering taste, this bar and our coffee sing in delightful harmony.

It couldn't have come at a better time. With an expected release date of February 6—just in time for Valentine's Day—these sweets will soon be available exclusively in our cafes.
