One of our favorite ways to enjoy espresso is the latte. We believe the best espresso can hold up to a milk pairing and still emanate all its nuance. We find the latte transforms espressos into an entirely other experience.

This 300 mL latte cup and saucer are used in our cafes around the world. The cup is made with gentle curves and a wide mouth for latte art. It nestles into the Blue Bottle–emblazoned asymmetrical saucer with space to rest a spoon.

Lattes Then and Now

• The Popularization of the Latte

Although the latte was created in the 1950s, it didn’t gain popularity until about the ’80s. Originally made to soften the Italian espresso many found too strong, it’s now a staple in the world of coffee, with blends created with lattes in mind.

• Kinto’s Modern Design

Kinto’s Topo line merges traditional aspects of form with a modern style. They have taken the classic latte cup and created a wabi-sabi–inspired aesthetic with a gentle thickness and asymmetrical attributes.

• Care and Cleaning

Made with microwave- and dishwasher-safe porcelain, this cup is for everyday use. Do not overheat in the microwave or heat without water. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool.
